Here we have combined Artemis and Otto’s fleece for a lush, soft 8ply with a beautiful lustre.
Artemis is pure Corriedale and was our bottle-fed lockdown lamb of 2020. Otto, our loyal cuddly boy, is a 50/50 mix of East Friesian and Corriedale. The result is a fleece 75 % corrie for softness and 25% east Friesian for fluff and lustre.
This fleece is from our 2023 shearing.
This is an 8-ply skein, approximately 100g in weight and 220m in length.
Our wool is spun in a small family mill in Victoria, where it is scoured using gentle natural processes.
